Mohammed Kibriya founded Ruh Life Coaching out of a gap he saw clearly from the inside: young Muslim professionals — male and female, ambitious and devout, navigating careers in tech, medicine, finance, law, and entrepreneurship — were being told to choose between their faith and their potential. Or worse, to compartmentalize one so the other could grow.
Mohammed’s path into this work began the way most meaningful things do — not with a plan, but with a pull. He came to Islam and found his world transformed. New friendships, a new community, a complete paradigm shift in how he understood himself and his purpose. But inside that rich tradition, he also felt lost. The frameworks were vast. The guidance was plentiful. What was missing was someone to sit with him — not to lecture, but to listen. A mentor. A coach. Someone who could help him find his why. When that person finally appeared, everything changed. That experience — of being truly seen and guided — became the seed of everything Ruh is today.
Mohammed’s qualifications are not on a wall. They are in the work. Two decades embedded in Islamic community life — volunteering, leading programs, sitting with elders, building mentorship initiatives from the ground up, and working full-time in Islamic nonprofit service. A Master’s in Nonprofit Management. And more than a thousand families who have walked through the process of finding their why and come out the other side with something real. That track record — of human connection, of showing up, of knowing this terrain from the inside — is what Ruh is built on.
The practice is built on a simple conviction: the young Muslim professional doesn’t need another lecture, another podcast, or another reminder of what’s wrong. They need a structured, confidential, faith-rooted relationship with a coach who has walked the same terrain and can help them build a life worth standing before Allah with.
Ruh serves clients across the United States, Canada, the UK, and the Gulf — virtually, in-person, and through corporate ERG engagements with organizations seeking to support their Muslim professional talent.

Coaching, done with ruh, is sacred work. These three commitments are non-negotiable — they protect the client, the framework, and the trust that makes real change possible.
A Sealed Conversation
Nothing said in a Ruh session leaves the room. No anonymized stories on social media. No “I had a client who…” anecdotes at conferences. Sitr is a Sunnah and it is treated like one. This is the floor.
No Spiritual Bypass
You will not be handed verses to silence the harder questions. The framework asks honest questions in the right order, and your coach will sit with the discomfort with you — not rescue you from it. Truth before comfort, every session.
A Real Framework
Ruh is not a vibe. It’s a written framework — five pillars, six-month arc, specific exercises in specific sequence. You leave each session with something concrete: a scorecard, a reset, a written plan. Insight without structure is just entertainment.

When You Can Book
Sessions are available 9 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Choose any hour that works for your schedule — early morning, lunch hour, evening, after the kids are asleep. The calendar respects your life.
How We Meet
Most sessions run on Zoom — clients are based across the country and across the world. In-person sessions are available in the Warren, Michigan area by arrangement. Phone-only sessions also work for some clients.
