The Ruh Coaching Framework

Five pillars.
Six months.
One integrated life.

A structured life coaching practice for young Muslim professionals navigating career, marriage, finances, identity, and faith — held together by a faith-rooted framework that adult Muslims have not had access to before.

Start With the Why Workshop
روح · سُلوك · أَثَر

The Why Workshop.
The Fitrah Compass.

Most “find your why” frameworks fail Muslims because they motivate without purifying. The standard coaching playbook was built for a culture that sees the self as the highest authority — it asks what does your soul want? Our tradition asks something different. It asks what Allah placed in your soul before you arrived, and what He intends for you to do with it.

The Why Workshop is six anchors, sequenced for emotional progression — from design, to gifts, to wounds, to intention, to service, to legacy. Each anchor earns the next. Available as a 1:1 coaching arc or a six-week cohort experience.

فطرة
01
Fitrah
Your original design

Who Allah made you to be before the world started editing. Every soul arrives leaning toward something — beauty, justice, mending, building, teaching. The work is to peel back the layers and remember what was there first.

Every child is born upon the fitrah. — Sahih al-Bukhari
نعمة
02
Ni’mah
Your gifts & trusts

Every ni’mah is also an amanah. The intelligence, the voice, the network, the wealth, the time — none of it is decoration. It is entrusted to you for a reason, and you will be asked about it.

Then you will surely be asked that day about every blessing. — Qur’an 102:8
ابتلاء
03
Ibtila
Your tests & wounds

Nothing in your life is wasted. The loss, the failure, the betrayal — these were not detours from your purpose. They were often the curriculum for it. The wound, when healed, becomes the language.

We will surely test you… but give good tidings to the patient. — Qur’an 2:155
نية
04
Niyyah
Your intention

A life can look purposeful and be hollow. Two people can do the same act — one rewarded, the other not. The difference is niyyah. Before we build, we ask: who is this really for?

Actions are but by intentions. — Sahih al-Bukhari
خدمة
05
Khidma
Your service

Purpose is not a feeling — it is a function. Once design, gifts, wounds, and intention are clear, the practical question follows: where in the world does this meet a real need? Specifically. By name.

The best of people are those most beneficial to people. — al-Tabarani
أثر
06
Athar
Your legacy

A Muslim’s life is measured by what continues after them. Sadaqah jariyah, beneficial knowledge, a righteous child. The final anchor strips away everything temporary and asks: what will outlive me?

When the son of Adam dies, his deeds are cut off except three… — Sahih Muslim
إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ
“Actions are but by intentions.”
Sahih al-Bukhari

Five pillars · adult edition.

The five Ruh pillars reframed for adult life. Each engagement walks every pillar — and holds them to one standard: Ihsān , doing each one as if Allah ﷻ is watching.

01 · RUHANI
The Soul
SPIRITUAL CORE
Salah that actually anchors the day. Quran beyond ritual recitation. Tawakkul as a working operating system. The relationship with Allah ﷻ as the foundation everything else is built on.
Salah Anchor Quran Lifestyle Tawakkul
02 · NAFS
Self-Mastery
EMOTIONAL DISCIPLINE
Anger management with a spouse, ego at work, jealousy of peers, screen and shahwa habits, and the inner critic. Tazkiyat-an-nafs as a practical adult science, not a children’s lecture topic.
Anger Ego at Work Habits
03 · AQL
The Mind
CAREER & STRATEGY
Career architecture, financial planning, halal-conscious decision making, and long-horizon thinking in a world of dopamine loops. The adult who plans for the akhira while building real worldly capability.
Career Wealth Decisions
04 · JASAD
The Body
HEALTH & ENERGY
The desk-bound Muslim professional’s biggest blind spot. Sleep, fitness, nutrition, and energy as amanah — not vanity. Healthy masculinity and femininity rooted in the prophetic model.
Energy Fitness Sleep
05 · UMMAH
Relationships
BROTHERHOOD & SERVICE
Marriage, in-laws, parenting, friendship, professional networks, and contribution to the community. The dimension most people are managing by instinct, with no framework at all.
Marriage In-Laws Service
+ THE INTEGRATOR
Ihsān
EXCELLENCE IN ALL FIVE
Ihsān is not a sixth pillar — it’s the standard the other five are held to. Doing each one as if Allah ﷻ is watching. This is what separates Ruh from secular coaching: not just goals, but goals worthy of the akhira.
Niyyah Standard Akhira-Aware

The Ruh 6
A six-month coaching arc.

Adult coaching is a longer arc than youth mentorship. Six months is the minimum dose for real change in this demographic — enough time to walk every pillar without rushing, short enough to drive urgency. Each month opens with a strategy session, runs through bi-weekly check-ins, and closes with an integration session.

MONTH 01 · AUDIT & VISION WHERE AM I, WHERE AM I GOING
SESSION 01
The Life Audit — Five Pillar Diagnostic
A structured assessment across the five Ruh pillars. Where the client is honest about themselves, often for the first time. Output: a written 5-pillar scorecard.

SESSION 02
The 5-Year Vision — Working Backward From the Grave
Begin with death — what do you want your janazah to look like? Reverse-engineer to today. The most clarifying and disorienting exercise of the program.
VISION
SESSION 03
The Niyyah Reset — Reclaiming Intention
The cornerstone exercise. Client identifies their true vs. inherited niyyah for career, marriage, money, and lifestyle. Most discover they’ve been operating on someone else’s intentions for years.
REFLECTION
MONTH 02 · RUHANI THE SPIRITUAL CORE

The Quran Habit — Daily Anchor for Adults
Building a 15-minute non-negotiable Quran habit that survives travel, deadlines, and parenting. Includes recitation, reflection, and translation cycle.
HABIT BUILD

Reframing every major life decision through the trust-in-Allah filter. Eliminates analysis paralysis, anxiety about outcomes, and the modern professional’s chronic overthinking.
REFRAME
MONTH 03 · AQL CAREER & STRATEGY

PLAYBOOK

Halal-Conscious Wealth — The Practical Money Plan

FINANCIAL
MONTH 04 · UMMAH MARRIAGE, FAMILY & RELATIONSHIPS

Three branches based on client’s stage: searching with intention, navigating early marriage, or repairing established marriage. Each gets a tailored 90-minute deep dive.
RELATIONAL
SESSION 11
The In-Law Equation — Honor Without Erosion
Probably the most underserved adult Muslim coaching topic. Honoring parents and in-laws without losing your marriage or your own boundaries. Real strategies, not platitudes.
STRATEGY

Concrete, written, time-bound action plan covering all five pillars for the next 90 days. The graduating client leaves with a working blueprint, not a feeling.

The Fatiha Workshop.
Seven verses. A lifelong relationship.

The chapter we recite in every rakah — often without the depth it deserves. The Fatiha Workshop is a weekly deep dive into Surah Al-Fatiha — its language, its theology, and the lived practice it asks of us — running in six-month cycles, with new participants welcomed into the circle at any time.

One verse, opened slowly. One theme, sat with. One week at a time. Six months to unpack what most Muslims spend a lifetime reciting without fully hearing. The format is intentional: slow, communal, and built for return — because Al-Fatiha is not a chapter you finish, it is a chapter you grow into.
